25 Years of Girls on the Run Georgia: Assurant

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Assurant, a partner whose commitment to community has made a lasting and meaningful impact. Our connection with Assurant began in 2016, when a member of their HR team joined our Board of Directors and helped strengthen our operations during an important period of growth. That same year, employee volunteers joined us at our spring 5K and Assurant contributed a $5,000 sponsorship, setting the stage for what would soon become a truly remarkable partnership.

25 Years of Girls on the Run Georgia: Gamma Phi Beta

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Gamma Phi Beta, a valued Girls on the Run national partner whose members have been integral to our mission season after season. From volunteering as coaches and 5K-day cheer stations to helping spread the word about our programs on campus and in the community, Gamma Phi Beta members have shown what it means to embody strength, compassion, and leadership.

25 Years of Girls on the Run Georgia: Karla Sadler

This month, we’re thrilled to highlight Karla Sadler, a dedicated Girls on the Run Georgia volunteer, supporter, and member of our Empower Giving Society. Her involvement with GOTR started with a simple favor—a friend asked Karla to be a 5K Buddy for her daughter at a Girls on the Run 5K. As an avid runner, biker, and hiker, she was happy to join in. But what she experienced that day was far more than just a fun run.

25 Years of Girls on the Run Georgia: GOTR YPB

Girls on the Run Georgia is celebrating 25 years of inspiring confidence in girls across Georgia, and each month, we’re spotlighting supporters who have played a crucial role in shaping our council.

This month, we’re proud to spotlight the Girls on the Run Young Professionals Board (GOTR YPB). Founded in 2016, GOTR YPB provides a leadership volunteer opportunity to individuals who are passionate about our mission, but may not be able to coach due to time constraints or would prefer to dedicate their time to serve the organization outside of coaching.
